Hi, I’m William!

I’m honored and privileged to embark on the Chance of a Lifetime (COAL) Season 5 adventure—from May 2025 to August 2026—a 15‑month journey that promises growth, service, and transformation. This program allows me to learn more about the inner workings of serving in ministry; strengthening organization skills, broadening cultural perspectives, and becoming a leader who can support many on their walk of discipleship.

Why I’m Taking This Journey

I recall being in attendance in one of the student sessions for the World Discipleship Summit in 2022. The speaker asked everybody to think of something scary that I could do for God, and doing a mission immediately came to my mind. Before that exact moment, I never considered nor even thought about a mission. Nearly two and a half years later, that prayer has been answered in the form of the opportunity before me with COAL.

Throughout the application and interview process, I regularly asked for God’s will to be done. I felt contentment and could see myself finding joy no matter the outcome. After receiving the offer call, I spent a few days in prayer and reflected on how God has led me to this moment. I’m confident that COAL is the best step to take for the coming 15 months!

My personal goals are to better understand how to care for and invest in others’ well-being and learn as much as I can about how different people follow Christ across the country and world. I hope to impact the lives of other young adults by leading personal Bible studies and helping them see the value of living life for Christ.
