Nestled in the heart of Estancia, New Mexico, The Path is more than a place—it is a spiritual sanctuary, a sacred space for prayer, ceremony, and hope. Founded by Grandmother Flordemayo, The Path stands as a testament to the enduring wisdom of Indigenous Grandmothers and Elders, honoring their voices, teachings, and legacy. 🌍✨

A Personal Journey of the Spirit
Our spiritual paths are deeply personal, unique to each of us. To walk a spiritual path is to embrace mindfulness, to pay attention to the signs along the way, and to live with awareness of the interconnectedness of our mind, body, soul, and spirit. It means looking inward for clarity and strength, understanding that our external lives are reflections of our thoughts and intentions. This journey—one of self-discovery, connection, and purpose—is what inspired Grandmother Flordemayo to establish The Path, a place where people can come together to nurture their spiritual growth.

SACRED TEMPLES AT THE PATH

The Path is housed on a 40- acre piece of property in Estancia, New Mexico just east of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Estancia is translated as the “place of rest.” On the 40- acres are Flordemayo’s five sacred temples of humanity: The Temple of The Golden Child, The Water Temple, The Fire Temple, The Seed Temple and The Earth Temple. These sacred sites serve as places for ceremony, celebrations, group teachings, and beautiful reminders of our deep connection with Mother Earth.

Our vision is to raise spiritual consciousness on the interconnectedness between humanity and Mother Earth.
The Path is more than a place, it is a spiritual sanctuary, it is a place of prayer, it is a place for ceremony.

We all have our spiritual Path. Your spiritual path is very personal, regardless of your beliefs. For many, following a spiritual path is like searching for something that makes them complete. That is why Grandmother Flordemayo founded The Path.To be on a spiritual path means to live mindfully, pay attention to the road's signs, and be conscious of our mind, body, and spirit. To be on a spiritual path means to look inward as often as outward. It knows that the externals of our lives are reflections of our thoughts, words, and manifestations of what we are imagining. It energizes us into being with the fuel of our passion.

Temple of the Golden Child

The Golden Child Temple is the sacred place that will honor the “Golden Peace Children,” and is located in the Hogon at The Path. That is, the golden children of peace are born into humanity daily. The Golden Child Temple is anchored with love and light for humanity.

In 2012, Flordemayo® received a vision during dialogue with the Beloved Mother. In this vision, Flordemayo® finds herself sitting in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth while being lovingly guided to prepare seed bundles with prayer. The Beloved Mother had shown a cosmic inspiration for Flordemayo® to birth, The Path, an organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of heirloom and heritage seeds. Now, The Path, prepares seed bundles to be given to the parents of babies being born today and those to be born in the future in the dream of honoring and protecting light beings of all forms in this new era of the Divine Feminine.

The Temple of the Golden Child is the sacred place that will join the heirloom seeds with the “Golden Peace Children.” That is, the golden children of peace being born into humanity every day.

FLORDEMAYO SHARES HER VISION OF “THE GOLDENCHILD”:

I would like to share the message of “The Golden Child”. I was at a gathering in March of 2010 and from my bed I felt the presence of someone coming into my room.

The Cosmic Voice called me –– “FLORDEMAYO”–– I was sitting in a lotus position and saw a Holy One floating, or gliding into my room. He was wearing a red robe, red, like the color of a watermelon, and he said, “I have a gift for you.”

I extended my arms and he placed an Egg that was made of Earth. It was quite big and weighed nearly 14 pounds. I held this Egg on my lap, and I started to chant, “You are Love. There is nothing but Love. Love is all there is.”

As I was doing this I was moving my hands up and down, cradling and caressing the Egg. I continued my chant for many hours and I energized the Egg with the words and the blessings of the chant. “You are Love. There is nothing but Love. Love is all there is.”

Then I witnessed the Egg change from Earth to Falling Crystalline Snow… as the Egg opened, a newborn baby started wiggling out of the Egg. I was SO Amazed I started crying and I said, “Baby, look at you! You are so beautiful…” This child was physically perfect and was Gold from head to toe.

As I continued to cry, I shouted to the universe “BABY, You are Golden. Look at You, You have little wings…” I cried again to the Universe and said “BABY… You are androgynous…Look at You! You are so Beautiful!”

In between my tears, and witnessing the beauty of the cosmic eyes of this Golden Child, I noticed that the light of the dawn was beginning to come through my window. I was in a state of grace, when the others I was with woke up, I shared this vision with them and we were all in a state of grace.

Not too long ago, I had a continuation of this vision. Now I am taking care of more of these crystalline Eggs. In my most recent vision, I was like a mother hen, positioning them in a certain way and caring for them. These babies have not yet been born.

The Seed Temple for the Future Generations

The Seed Temple is the realization of Grandmother Flordemayo’s original vision of a place where the sacred heritage seeds would be protected for future generations. It has existed since 2012. Kindly note, we do not sell or otherwise monetize the seeds themselves.

Now more than ever it is important that we protect and increase our heritage seeds for the future and for our communities. Much of the diversity of seeds is being lost as fewer people are planting the original seeds, as modern agriculture has turned to genetically modified and patented seed to produce our crops. The seeds in our collection have come from numerous donations of samples of traditional varieties of corn, beans, squash, grains, vegetables, and herbs. The Seed Temple is designed as a controlled environment that protects the viability of the seeds stored. From the Seed Temple, many kinds of seeds from our collection have been sent to volunteers who have helped grow and increase them, to keep them strong and to provide a stock source to distribute to others. Working to preserve these seeds gives us a sense of purpose and unity and fosters the relationships in community which are our true wealth.

Seeds are life and offer abundant life for future generations. We are, as all of humanity is, at a crossroads. We are facing the loss of biodiversity at an unprecedented rate. Human migration is at an all-time high – 1 in 100 people is displaced from their homes for various reasons, including climate change.

Heirloom seeds are our past and future, taking many generations to diversify and cultivate. Seed banks, like the one at The Path, are crucial for our survival. They support our survival by preserving crop diversity; protecting us from the impacts of climate change; protecting us from natural disasters; mitigating disease in crops; providing seed material for research. The strength of any ecosystem is its biodiversity.

Diversity creates resilience in living systems. When a broad range of genetic diversity is present in a population of living beings, such as plants or animals, these populations are better able to withstand the pressures of climatic change, pests, diseases, or other challenges. The web of life is diverse, interdependent, and constantly adapting. Now more than ever, we must protect and increase our heritage seeds for the future and our communities. Many seeds' diversity is lost as fewer people plant the original seeds. Modern agriculture has turned to genetically modified and patented seeds to produce our crops.

Water Temple & Water Wheel

“The first element for me is the Water because when we are born - we are in the womb in water. We are water in the most obvious ways. More than half the weight of every human being on Earth is water. A glass of water contains countless molecules circulated the planet by the water cycle. Water is the glue that holds life together.” Grandmother Flordemayo

Flordemayo’s teaching that “water is life to all living things” inspired several conversations with others about the vision of dedicating a temple to honor water. In September of 2012, with the assistance of Marshall “Golden Eagle” Jack, as we prayed next to the Hogan, Flordemayo saw a Spirit Grandmother in the Heavens and, in her prayers, invited this spirit to come and live in this 3 ton Sacred Rock who is the shape of a human heart. There are five Grandfather Stones to form the outer circle of the Water Temple. The Grandmother Rock was sent from the Star Nation – an anonymous person donated the funds as instructed by the Star beings. The geometric pattern of the Water Temple is known as the flower radiates in all directions from this central Grandmother Stone using small, colored, or white stones to outline the complex and intricate pattern of this very sacred design. On September 16, 2012, a special ceremony was performed to initiate and activate the energetic network of this Sacred Water Wheel with other bodies of water worldwide. Participants of this initiation event included: members of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, Cirilo Perez Oxlaj (Wakatel Utiw or “Wandering Wolf”), the Mayan Grand Elder Grandfather, guests, and volunteers.

“The element of water is a beautiful element and is very frightening to me, I don’t know how to swim, but then I come from the mountains of Nicaragua where we don’t have lakes to go swimming. But, I love being by the water, and the beautiful music of the ocean, rivers, and streams.” Grandmother Flordemayo

Air & Wind Temple

“My second element is the Air, and when we are born, we take our first breath. We are also air... We must breathe every minute of our lives. There is no boundary between air and ourselves because we are fused to air, which is always in us. The air we breathe out goes into the bodies of those next to us. Air is not an empty space or a vacuum; it’s a physical substance that binds us together and links us with all of Mother Earth and its inhabitants. According to my Mayan chart, the element of Air is important because Iq is the lord of the wind, the breath,. All my life I was sick in my lungs and had to fight my breath - it’s a blessing and a detriment, it is a weakness in my body. My breath also allows me to do my humming prayer.”

The Wind Temple honors the elements of air when the wind blows and uses the sound as a vehicle to transmute the prayers into the world. When you hear the wind blow, there is a vibration of sound that sends prayers in the four directions for all of humanity. The sound carries the prayers, the healing. The sound resonates and sends vibrations to the world. Imagine it as a vehicle for the prayers and ceremonies at The path.
The Wind Temple is made of upcycled welding gas tanks made of steel, and the small ones are upcycled old oxygen tanks made of steel. This was made by my son-in-law Brian for my daughter Heather. We encourage everyone that visits to sit and listen and feel the wind, the air, and the sound healing.

Earth Temple

“My third sacred element is the Earth as when we take our first steps to walk it is on the earth. We are earth because every bit of nutrition that we consume to create our bodies and minds was once living and almost all of it came from the soil. We take other life forms into our mouths, ingest them, and incorporate their molecules into our own cells.”

You enter the labyrinth and follow the path as it winds its way toward the center. You pause in the center as you like, and make a connection with the sacred Grandmother Stone at the center of the labyrinth, and then turn and exit the labyrinth on the same path you came in, just going the opposite direction. A labyrinth is used for walking meditation. It is a single winding path from the outer edge circuitously to the center. Labyrinths are used worldwide as a way to quiet the mind, calm anxieties, recover balance in life, enhance creativity and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection, and stress reduction.

Fire Temple

“My fourth element: Fire is the sun because we are dependent on the sun for life it is the spirit of the fire that lives in us and reminds us of our love for God. We are fire because energy makes all life possible, and every bit of that energy was once sunlight. All the energy we need to move, grow, and reproduce came from the Sun through photosynthesis.” Grandmother Flordemayo
The Fire Temple at the 40 acres was built in 2012 and was initiated with the assistance of students from the Institute of American Indian Arts, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We are building the future through the thoughts, prayers, and intentions planted in the hot coals of the fire. For within the fire lives the Divine. Through Flordemayo’s vision, she saw the coming of the second sun rising from the northwest, which is why the doorway was placed in this direction.
