We received news from the shelter today that they have been able to raise half of the money needed to purchase the land for their permanent peace village. This is awesome news! With that news, I reduced our goal to $20,000. I know that's a lot- but we are approaching the halfway mark! I am raising our goal to the amount that the shelter needs to raise by the end of March in order to purchase the land for their permanent home. It is a rather audacious goal for our rather small organization. But perhaps someone here knows someone who knows someone...a corporation or foundation for whom that amount of money would be possible to support survivors of abuse in Kerala.
