2025 Christmas Assistance

The Christmas Extravaganza Fundraiser is one of Paying It Forward’s most cherished annual events, bringing joy, hope, and holiday cheer to underserved families in Lancaster and York. Together with Kaswear Cares, & Fresh Start Initiative Alliance Foundation we are hosting a free, family-centered celebration includes festive activities such as photos with Santa, Christmas workshops, holiday games, raffles, music, and treats like hot cocoa and cookies. Families also enjoy face painting, Christmas bingo, craft stations, and more—all designed to create lasting holiday memories.

Beyond celebration, the event has a deeper purpose: to raise the vital funds needed to support our annual Back to School Giveaway, where over 3,000 backpacks filled with supplies are provided to local students. Donations and sponsorships from the Christmas Extravaganza ensure that children return to school prepared and confident, while also helping us continue our year-round mission to fight food insecurity and provide resources for single mothers, children, and homeless families in need.
