The Mustang Stampede is Merrill Middle School’s biggest and most exciting student fundraiser of the year. On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, students will take part in a high energy walk-a-thon that goes far beyond walking laps. The Stampede transforms our track into an interactive experience with music, themed stations, challenges, and friendly competition that celebrates school spirit and community pride.

Students will fundraise for six weeks leading up to the event, collecting donations from family, friends, and neighbors. On event day, they will rotate through fun “Stampede Stations” including music zones, spirit tunnels, mini challenges, and interactive activities designed to keep everyone moving and engaged. Classrooms and grade levels will compete for prizes, and the entire school will work together toward a shared goal with a schoolwide celebration reward.

Funds raised through the Mustang Stampede directly support student programs, enrichment opportunities, and experiences that make Merrill Middle School a vibrant place to learn. This includes classroom resources, student activities, and community building events that benefit every student. If each student raises even just $10, we can reach our goal.

The Stampede wraps up with an after school community celebration featuring food, raffles, and prize announcements. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to join us in cheering on our Mustangs and celebrating what we can accomplish together.
