Mission Statement:

The Table Read Co is a New York City-based nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the next generation of playwrights by providing a collaborative incubator for the development of new theatrical works. We connect emerging writers with a vibrant network of theatre professionals—including producers, actors, directors, choreographers, musicians, and patrons—to bring fresh voices to life through dynamic table reads and creative exchange. Our mission is to cultivate bold storytelling, foster artistic partnerships, and champion the creation of original plays that reflect the diverse spirit of our city and beyond.

Donation Tiers

$25: Print the Pages

With a $25 donation, you cover the basics that make big things happen: script printing, website support, and rehearsal materials for our artists.

$50: Support an Actor

With a $50 donation, you’re not just part of the team—you help build it, covering the cost of actors in the room and gifting them for their services.

$100: Cover a Stage Manager

Your $100 gift helps pay for the creative team in the room—covering essential roles like a stage manager, director, or photographer who ensure our readings run smoothly and truly bring the process to life.
- Donors at this level enjoy: your name will be featured in our monthly donor email for the month of your contribution as a token of our thanks.

$250: Fund A Table Read

At $250, you provide the room for rehearsals and table reads—creating the space where collaboration happens and scripts become performances.
- Donors at this level enjoy all prior-tier benefits, as well as the following: a Producer credit for one of our table reads, recognizing your support.

$500: Director’s Circle

As part of the Director’s Circle, your $500 gift produces an entire reading—covering the space, actors, and creative team needed to bring a story to life.
- Donors at this level enjoy all prior-tier benefits, as well as the following: a Producer credit for one of our table reads, and you’ll receive a personal, signed script excerpt from our creative team in appreciation of your support.

$1000: Producer’s Chair

At $1000, you step into the Producer’s Chair. This level supports both the art and the people behind it, producing multiple readings while paying our staff for their commitment and expertise.
- Donors at this level enjoy all prior-tier benefits, as well as the following: you’ll earn a Producer credit for (two) table reads, receive a personally signed script excerpt, gain special guest access to both private readings, and your name featured on our websites “Donor Page”.

$5000: Executive Producer’s Guild

As part of the Executive Producer’s Guild, your $5000 donation transforms our company—sponsoring staged readings, supporting artists at every level, and ensuring The Table Read Co. thrives for years to come.
- As a member of our Executive Producer’s Guild, you’ll receive a Producer credit on 5 table reads, a signed script excerpt from our creative team, invitations to attend private readings as our guest, your name featured on our websites “Donor Page”, and an exclusive dinner in Manhattan with The Table Read Co. founder and team in recognition of your extraordinary support.
