Since Rock to the Future's beginning, we've had the goal of using music as the bridge to support bright futures and lifelong well-being. Music is more than just a creative outlet—it’s a powerful tool that builds confidence, discipline, teamwork, and self-expression, which translate into success in school, careers, and life. Alongside exciting music classes, students also have access to academic resources, tutoring, college and trade school readiness, professional development, and resource support, ensuring they are prepared for their next steps.

With 100% of Rock to the Future’s MusiCore graduates advancing to college or trade school, Rock to the Future is proving that music is the key to unlocking bright futures. Rock to the Future supports graduating seniors through scholarships and laptops while also supporting individualized education needs for MusiCore youth, which include college and trade school trips, academic advising, and career development.

With underfunded schools facing increasing challenges and arts education programs at risk, many students are left without the resources they need to succeed. Year End Showcase:

Celebrate our students’ successes and talents at our Year-End Showcase! Enjoy student band performances and choir performances celebrating the hard work and passion they've poured into their music all year. This event is free to attend, with meals provided for each attendee, family-friendly, and will take place at World Cafe Live in West Philadelphia.

Let’s come together to cheer on our talented students and celebrate the power of music and community!

Rock to the Future supports positive youth development and economic empowerment through free, student-driven music programs for Philadelphia youth in our neighborhoods. We serve more than a thousand children, teens, and young people annually in school, after school, and during the summer in schools, community locations, and in the juvenile justice system. We envision that all youth in Philadelphia will have access to the life-changing benefits of our transformative music programs.
