Youth Investment Fund

Creating A Global Network of Social Change Donors

The world is changing rapidly, and young changemakers need support now more than ever. Peace First has been at the forefront of empowering young people for 30 years, providing responsive programs that equip them with the tools to tackle our communities' unprecedented challenges. And we're not slowing down. In fact, since 2017, our deliberate strategy has accelerated our reach and impact across the globe, with nearly 30,000 young people from 166 countries joining our online community. That's led to over 13,000 impactful projects and 2,000,000 individuals worldwide impacted by the incredible work of youth-led initiatives supported by Peace First. But we're just scratching the surface of what's possible. There's so much more change to be made, and we're committed to being a driving force behind it.

Through the Youth Investment Fund, Peace First redefines what it means to be a ‘donor.’ Traditionally, donors are targeted based on their wealth and access. While their money has significantly impacted youth development, it has skewed the perspective of where, how, and when organizations should give money. Fundraising is a fundamental part of social justice work and must be democratized. School teachers, taxi drivers, waiters, and everyday people who keep our world running are just as worthy of being recognized as donors to this work. Yet, they haven’t been given the same opportunity as wealthy individuals. We are changing that.

By broadening who invests in the leadership of young changemakers, we are inviting new perspectives that mirror the people we aim to impact. It strengthens our commitment to being an equitable organization and challenges people to change how they see their agency in changing the world.

The Youth Investment Fund is a direct pathway to empowering young changemakers in their communities with the financial resources, mentorship, and technology they need to make a real impact. By contributing, you'll join a robust community of like-minded individuals committed to investing in the next generation of change agents. We aim to reach 1,200 monthly donors with an average gift of $84, which will help us sustain and grow our programs and offerings. And because this fund has no end date, your support will ensure a lasting impact for years. Join us today and be a part of the movement for youth-led social change!
