For over 45 years, Praise International has been collaborating with local churches across the globe in poverty-stricken countries.

Our mission is to empower national pastors by supporting their ministries, enabling them to reach as many individuals as possible in their respective countries for Jesus Christ.

For example, Praise International currently sponsors 30 pastors in the Ivory Coast. We are planning to return in August to provide personal encouragement to these pastors, as well as hundreds of others, through two pastors' conferences. The first conference will take place in the Abidjan region, where we anticipate 300 participants, and the second conference will be held in the western part of the Ivory Coast, in a region called Man, expecting 200 participants.

This is Ron with his wife Twyla. They are very active members of our church, First Baptist Church. Ron is no stranger to mission work! He has gone on many mission trip and has been very useful and fruitful. He went to Peru with the youth group and many other in our church and helped at an orphanage. He went to Papua New Guinea with a delegation from our church for a very special dedication of the brand new finished New Testament the our Wycliffe missionaries did! He also went to a very difficult country where Praise International is helping pastors and their families. Then he went again with Praise International to Ivory Coast, where he helped built the Clinic that Praise International funded. Ron is a hard worker. He has a heart for missions. He is also a person who loves people. He has a wonderful ability to making individuals feel valued, even without the use of the English language! Ron will come to Ivory Coast with us on August 21 to September 4. We will encourage pastors by meeting with them and by doing a couple pastors conferences, as mentioned above. We will also physically helping an Ivorian pastor in the construction of his church building and repainting the clinic that Praise started 12 years ago!
