My story...I am the sassy one on the left! 

I am originally from Buffalo, NY. And Yes. I love the snow and the Buffalo Bills. I chose The Ohio State University for athletics because I dreamed of being a competitive swimmer in a Division I program (and, of course, I wanted to be a Buckeye). Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I have always been a swimmer, starting in synchronized swimming at the YWCA. I still love to swim and love the Grove City YMCA pool. I love Boxer puppies and have raised them with my fiancé Jerry in our 11 years together. (Laila, Boaz, Marley, Brando, and Daisy)

Who knew that by attending OSU and connecting with so many Ohioans, I would move back to Columbus after graduate school? This is where my YMCA journey began in 2005. I have worked at six central Ohio locations: Hilltop, North, Hilliard, Pickaway, Garver/Reynoldsburg-in school-age child care, and Whitehall in different capacities, serving multiple communities all while keeping our mission in the forefront. I have had an amazing 19-year journey with and YMCA and consider it my second home and family.

In 2024, our Grove City YMCA welcomed 283,000+ visits from our 12,709 members, provided $115,000+ in financial assistance, served 950 in youth swim lessons, 120 in summer day camp, 5,000+ active older adults, and more! We are better together.
