Fairfield, Heritage, Pickerington, Sycamore, Toll Gate, Tussing and Violet Y Clubs! 

In November we started 'Reading Friday' with the children. Each child was able to pick a Friday of the month to read any book of their choice. Many of them brought books from their home to read. :) One child was supposed to read but he forgot his book from home. He was upset and when asked if he wanted to choose something from our bookshelf, his reply was “No.' We let him know he could read on Monday morning. He came in with excitement about his book. We believe that seeing his excitement and his wanting to read his book was a success.

We loved that literacy became important and exciting for the kids by adding some fun, a choice of book and more! We believe that adding choices for the kids allows them to share their interests and favorite things.

By providing financial assistance for our Y Club families our participants and communities thrive. In 2024 we provided $11,000 in financial assistance for Y Club families.
