Community has always been what has shaped me and what I stand for. It’s where people find a sense of belonging. We all need support systems and welcoming spaces beyond home and work—places that nurture our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. When the opportunity arose for me to join the YMCA of Central Ohio felt like the perfect fit.

The Y is more than a gym and swim– we’re a vital part of the community. As the largest childcare provider in Central Ohio, we support families every day. With 13 Community Centers, we create connections. And for those facing homelessness, we offer stability through rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing, and the largest emergency shelter in Columbus.

Every day, the Y serves five generations, empowering all people to reach their full potential. It’s about creating access and opportunities for everyone to build a healthy spirit, mind and body.
