2026 Paddle Plunge

The Paddle Plunge is back and this year it kicks off the Centennial Celebration at Camp Lincoln. On April 11th, as the ice melts off Kingston Lake, YMCA supporters will pull on their most creative costumes and run into the icy water to support the Southern District YMCA Annual Support Campaign. This unforgettable tradition launches a year of celebrating 100 years of Camp Lincoln while helping ensure YMCA programs remain accessible to families who need them most.

Why do they do it? Because they care and because the impact lasts far beyond the plunge. Funds raised provide children in our community with opportunities that build independence, self-confidence, and joy through YMCA programs and camp experiences.

Help us reach our 2026 goal. Create a team, choose a costume, and raise money for scholarships. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and for the team that raises the most money. The suggested minimum donation per team is $1,000. Team members that raise more than $250 individually will receive a Paddle Plunge towel.

Join us at 9:30 AM for a free pancake breakfast around the campfire before the plunge.

11:45 AM - Lexie's Burger Bus and Kona Ice open for business

Lexie's Burger Bus - Free burger to all who jump in the lake. Burgers to purchase for spectators.
Kona Ice truck - Complimentary Kona Ice for all who jump in the lake. (Weather Permitting)
