Adjacent to Standard Park on Tuolumne Road in Sonora, California, this 7+ acre project will add much needed sports facilities for the youth and larger community of Tuolumne County.

Then and now: When we started this project in 2021, the basin was undeveloped and un-used. Today (August 2024) our soccer field hosts teams from Sierra United for both practices and games. Our pickleball courts are almost complete and the major infrastructure for continued development has been laid out.

Phase I is near completion and includes:

1 full-size (fifa regulation!) soccer field
4 pickleball courts
Batting Cages

About the Youth Sports Foundation of Tuolumne County

Founded in 1999, YSF was established as a 501c3 non-profit to expand play opportunities for Tuolumne County youth through the renovation and creation of play spaces, facilities and sport fields.

Notably, YSF has led projects to renovate Cassina High School’s baseball/softball fields, remediate elementary school playgrounds and fields, provide equipment to leagues, and promote local youth sports program establishment.
