Power of Pink is Breast Care for Washington’s annual Fitness Activation and FUNdraiser. Over a decade ago, Karen Leder founded Power of Pink to honor her sister, Jill Beam Kougl. Exercise was a way for Jill to cope with her breast cancer, and her legacy inspires our annual Power of Pink event. Many women diagnosed with breast cancer do not have the resources or support that Jill had, so The Power of Pink was started to help these women.

This year, Breast Care for Washington celebrated Power of Pink at Community of Hope’s spacious community rooms. On October 4^th Wake the 8 lead a dynamic Fitness Activation, including warm up session, Zumba and a yoga cool down.
