**It is the belief of the New Jersey 4-H Camp that every child deserves the opportunity to go to summer camp. Any donation, regardless of amount, helps tremendously in supporting this mission.**

Every season, 4-H Camp gives out tens of thousands dollars in camperships, the majority of which is unfunded. In Summer 2023, The New Jersey 4-H Camp gave our $35,100 in campership support to 61 campers for sessions at overnight camp in Stokes Forest and 4-H Camp at Rutgers Gardens, the brand-new day camp in New Brunswick..

The 4-H Campfire Council (a group of 4-H Camp alumni) is pleased to launch this annual Campership Campaign to raise funds to help support these efforts and provide the camper experience to kids who might not afford it otherwise.

All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to the New Jersey 4-H Camp Campership program.

For donations of $100 or more, donors will be thanked with a 2024 Annual T-Shirt and and invite to 4-H Camp’s Lantern BBQ, an afternoon summer kick-off celebration, on Sunday June, 30th.

In addition, as we move toward our goal we’ll unlock rewards for our whole Camp Community:

At $1000 dollars raised, our '23 Programming Coordinator Max will send a special message our from Chicago!
At $2500, Summer '23 counselor Ace will send a “hello” from Rutgers University!
At $5000, 4-H Camp’s singer/songwriter in residence will debut a campership song just for you! (And by “you” we mean “all of us.”)
And at $7500, we’ll present a specially made bowl of the 4-H Camp favorite dessert…for Woodrow, the Camp Dog (The Good Boy) to enjoy.
And MORE when the Campership Campaign culminates at Winter Gathering (Saturday, December 2nd - which you’re all invited to!)

The 4-H Campfire Council (EIN: 32-0489361) is a group dedicated to the support of both the summer camp program and facility at L.G. Cook 4-H Camp, the New Jersey 4-H Camp in Stokes State Forest. The group is comprised of camper and staff alumni. It is an authorized subordinate within the group exemption ruling held by Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, for 4-H Clubs & Affiliated 4-H Organizations certified by Rutgers Cooperative Extension, a unit of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station.

The 4-H Campfire Council supports L.G. Cook 4-H Camp in their mission to make summer camp available to all New Jersey youth regardless of financial circumstances.
