Frè Ak Sè was born from a simple truth:

When we come together, we rise together.

We are a community-rooted, culture-driven nonprofit committed to empowering families, bridging generations, and uplifting the Haitian and Caribbean diaspora through education, cultural expression, and meaningful service.

Our name means “Brother and Sister” — a reminder that we are all connected, responsible for one another, and capable of building something powerful when we stand side by side.

Frè Ak Sè creates programs and events that inspire unity, celebrate our heritage, and strengthen the social fabric of our communities. Through cultural gatherings, social impact projects, youth engagement, health and wellness initiatives, and inter-generational conversations, we create safe spaces for education, expression, healing, and joy.

Our signature events — including Generational Love Talks, Gathering of Friends, and community pop-ups — exist to bring people together across ages, backgrounds, and experiences. These moments remind us of who we are, where we come from, and the power we have to shape our future.
