Yaysh - Who We Are

We are the volunteer-led Hartford-area partner of Momentum Unlimited, a global organization founded in 2008. Our mission is to Bring Jewish Alive: we engage and inspire mothers of Jewish children, encouraging them to embrace a vibrant, enriching Jewish life.

At the heart of our work is a highly subsidized trip to Israel, followed by a transformative Year of Growth. This journey offers mothers a once-in-a-
lifetime opportunity to forge deep connections with other women—both within our local group and with participants from around the world—while experiencing the unparalleled beauty and wonder of Israel. Together, we empower women to lead inspired Jewish lives and strengthen their communities.

By fostering intentional partnerships with synagogues, local organizations, and our broader community, we empower women to form meaningful connections and lay the groundwork for years of growth. Our programs extend beyond trip participants, warmly welcoming women to join us in discovering and embracing what it means to “do Jewish.”

We have just sent our first group of 15 mothers on this extraordinary journey to Israel on November 16th and have 2 more trips planned for 2026.

To continue bringing women to Israel and engaging them in our Jewish Community, we’re calling on the support of our Greater Hartford community.
