Volunteers have been on site preparing the property for the full rehabilitation that will take place there over the next several months. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth was founded in 1997. We build new affordable homes for low- to moderate-income families, and make critical repairs and renovations on existing homes in our service area of Plymouth, Carver, Kingston, Middleboro, Lakeville and Plympton. Our volunteer crews build homes from start to finish for selected partner families, who also put in "sweat equity" hours building their own homes. Homeowners pay an affordable mortgage and everyone in the family benefits from the transformative impact that secure, stable housing provides.
