On September 26 2023, two days after my Dad passed from metastatic prostate cancer, I set out to run 157 miles across my home state of Indiana. To honor his fight, celebrate his life, and catch a glimpse of what he endured during his 6.5 year battle. With an original goal of raising $5,000 to donate Stay Positive hoodies to patients and to donate to prostate cancer research. What followed was a true testament to the power of community, never giving up hope, and staying positive!

2 years later we have turned the story into a documentary with hopes to spreading the inspiration my Dad was and his mantra "STAY POSITIVE" to as many people as possible. On 9/26, the two year anniversary of his passing, we premiered the documentary in partnership with IU Simon Cancer Center. In 2026 we plan on submitting to film festivals to help spread the mission and widen the impact.

We hope that through this film you get inspired by the man my Dad was. Someone who could find joy and gratitude even during his hardest days. Who stood firm in his faith, never gave up hope, and continued to stay positive. A reminder to us all that even during our hardest moments we can always get back up and put one foot in front of the other!
