Cancellations

If you are unable to come to the event and need to cancel your ticket, please contact lauren@queerscouting.org. Tickets must be "revoked" by a leadership member because GiveButter doesn't let you cancel your own tickets. It's silly, we know! Please let us know if you are unable to attend for any reason. There is no shame for a last minute cancellation, but we sometimes have waitlists and cancelling tickets allows us to free up spots for others. Please note the name & date of the event when cancelling a ticket.

Accessibility Transparency

Physical:
We are going to try to claim the shelter next to the bathrooms at the southern end of the park, near the playground. If that is taken, we will find space at a table or in the grass nearby. This area is close to accessible parking. Sensory:
We will have a canopy and some blankets and camp chairs. If you're able to bring your own picnic blanket or chair, that would be helpful! Remember that this will be April in Seattle so it is likely to be chilly and damp.

Immune System Safety:
Please be fully vaccinated with a the current Covid booster. Plan to be masked with an n95/kn95+ at all times; if you need to drink or eat something, please step away from the group.

Financial:
This event is free for all attendees.

Transit:
Parking: There is are two small parking lots at the south end of Judkins Park. Additional street parking is available near the park.
Buses: Metro routes 48 and 4 both stop about a block east of Judkins Park.
Biking: There is a bike rack near the bathrooms and park shelter on the south end of the park. The rack has spots for five bikes.

Bathroom: Gendered public restrooms are available in the park. Each bathroom has an accessible stall with a bar on one side. The stalls in the bathrooms do not have doors but the main door on each bathroom is lockable. We will bring fragrance free soap to use during the event.
