Your donation helps us build a strong foundation for our clay community. Proceeds will go toward building a fantastic, informative website, working with a strategic planner to help The Clay Cultural Center in reaching its goal of educating the public and creating a vibrant and diverse community of people from all walks of life.

Launching our website is an essential component in our ability to reach those members of our community that want to learn about clay and how ubiquitous it is in our lives.

Of course we also plan on hosting an inaugural event and other events in the local community, as well as online, all will be invited!

Who We Are

The Clay Cultural Center is a community-driven collective of artists, scientists, health practitioners, teachers, farmers, and others interested in clay and consciousness that bridges science, art and Spirit.

We connect people to each other through lectures, classes, a museum, and food. We offer a space for research, experimentation, healing, and personal growth. We recognize that clay is and offers much more than is currently thought of. We understand clay as a catalyst for change and see it as a role model for how to gel community and evolve our dualistic thinking into connection and wholeness. Our purpose is to demonstrate how diverse thinkers and personalitites can bridge to each other through a common thread.

We hope to educate people about this diverse and essential material that is our Earth and have a space that pays homage to remembering a connection to the natural world and all it offers.

What We Are Doing

We started 2024 with our fun Cooking with Clay class and we are now looking forward to our Goddess Sculpting class which is in person in Brookline, NH. This 2-day class is sure to be interesting, fun and in Clay Cultural Center style, it is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals.

What We Have Planned

Soon after our Goddess Sculpting Class we are also hosting a grief class, Massaging Grief: Using Clay Work to Heal Loss. We will add the event information here as we draw nearer to the date, but you can check out our website at clayculturalcenter.org for details and to reserve your place to this healing class.

Our Vision

We aim to "sculpt" a beautifully designed Ferro cement building to house a clay art lab, clay research lab, restaurant, clay healing room, lecture hall, and clay apothecary, somewhere in New Hampshire within the next ten years.

The Presence of Clay

Did you know that the paper you use most likely has Kaolin clay in it? It is used to improve the appearance and printability of paper, among other things.

Did you know there is such a thing as edible clay? Did you know clay is used for therapy? Did you know there are homeopathic clay remedies?

Our Mission

We at the Clay Cultural Center, a 501c3 non-profit, envision a vibrant community of people from many disciplines connected through clay minerals. We recognize there is already a culture of clay users. Potters, geologists, clay physicists, soil scientists, medical doctors, holistic health practitioners, civil engineers, and architects all investigate and utilize clays for different reasons. The Center offers a place for a community with varying perspectives to come together and learn from each other. As a result, we get to know the material and ourselves better.
