🌿 Help Us Bring Yoga & Wellness to Underserved Communities

I founded Yuj for Change to bring free yoga, wellness, and healthy food directly to underserved neighborhoods — starting in Las Vegas.

As a young woman who grew up in a not so peaceful home, I know how much trauma can greatly affect the mind and the body. I also know how life changing it can be to finally have a safe space to breathe, stretch, or just sit in silence.

Yuj means “to unite” — and that’s what I'm doing: uniting mind, body, and community. I'm bringing yoga to neighborhoods, parks, schools, community centers, and anywhere peace is needed most. Most people in these underserved neighborhoods have never been to a yoga class. Our mission is not just about movement — it's about reducing the crime rate and teaching everyone that peace is within you.

Right now, we’re raising funds to:

Purchase a reliable van to transport yoga materials
Provide healthy snacks, yoga clothing, mats, blocks, and straps
Create wellness kits with journals and hygiene items
Build a mobile “Wellness Van” to reach even more areas

To be quite honest, I aim to have the essentials for yogis to participate so they do not need to bring anything if they do not have it. Every dollar helps us bring light into places often left in the dark.

I’m a current college student founder, currently using my own resources and finances to continue this mission; from the mats, snacks, and transportation. With your support and after board approval, a modest salary will be built into our budget to ensure I can reach more communities full-time without needing multiple jobs.
