The Pink Triangle is a visible yet mute reminder of man’s inhumanity toward man. The lesson of the Pink Triangle is what can happen when hatred and bigotry are allowed to become law.

San Francisco is the ONLY city on the planet with a giant ONE-ACRE Pink Triangle (made of pink canvas) installed on Twin Peaks overlooking the city for its Pride Weekend since 1995. This giant Pink Triangle is uniquely San Francisco and has become an important reminder during Pride Weekend when dozens of volunteers come together to help install it on a shoestring budget so any donation no matter how small is much appreciated.

The Pink Triangle commemoration ceremony gives the history of the pink triangle. The ceremony takes place after the installation of the Pink Triangle has featured many celebrities and elected officials from San Francisco, the State of California, SF Pride Grand Marshalls and even foreign dignitaries.
