On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your generous donation to OC Habitats™ (OCH). Your support enables us to protect and restore Orange County’s native habitats and species through education, restoration, and monitoring.

In 2025, thanks to donors like you, we:

Hosted 60 habitat restoration events at wetland, riparian, coastal sage scrub and chapparal habitats in Huntington and Newport Beaches, Santa Ana, Irvine and Tustin

Led 1,580 volunteers at restoration and monitoring events contributing a total of 4,843 volunteer hours

Removed 27,115 pounds of debris and invasive species

Engaged 5,104 people through educational events (doubled compared to 2024), including on-campus elementary school programs, guided hikes, and habitat experiences

Collaborated with partners to monitor least tern, sea urchin and Wester Monarch butterfly populations, which helps to assess the health of our local habitats

Your support makes our work possible—from teaching 2nd-grade students about the importance of pollination to restoring critical ecosystems—all while preparing the next generation of environmental stewards.
