We are excited to share with you that the B’Mitzvah class of 2024-25 are working on a community service project. Together, we’re organizing a fundraiser to help feed those in need. It’s a chance for us to give back, and it ties into the values of kindness, charity, and responsibility that are so important in our Jewish tradition.

But we can’t do this alone. We’re reaching out to you for your support. Every little bit makes a difference.

This project is about more than just giving food; it’s about showing compassion for those who are struggling. Your generosity will help us bring comfort and hope to the people who deserve it.

As a class, our fundraising goal is to raise $7700 by November, 2025. The funds will be shared with World Central Kitchen, a company who is providing meals to victims of the Los Angeles fires. In addition, we plan to serve meals to hungry people, locally in Santa Barbara County. We will host bake sales in addition to this Givebutter fundraising campaign to reach our goal. Each of us has committed to raising $700 and we're excited to see which student can bring in the most donations, too!
