2026 Summer Camp Day 31 Highlights — A Better Summer Camp

Our 2026 Summer Camp is officially underway! This year, 60 campers, 6 instructors, and 19 volunteers came together for a day full of art, connection, and community — with the excitement of the World Cup in the air, campers proudly held up the Haitian flag as part of the celebration.

Here's is a peek at what happened Day 31:

🎨 60 Young campers (ages 8–14) gather at the art table, watching closely as an older camper mixes paint

🍝 19 Volunteers serve up a warm meal, dishing out spaghetti with care

🎤 7 instructors: Choreographers, drummer, artist, Herbalist, martial artist w over 60 campers for the new season

⭕ Campers gather in the Choukoune — our open, circular meeting space — for connection and community

Note: From the inception of the Anba MòN camp, our campers have begun every morning by singing the Haitian National Anthem in our mother tongue, Haitian Kreyòl — the version written by Raymond Moïse. This practice is connected to our reparative justice initiative, "Echoes of Freedom: Reclaiming the Haitian Anthem in Our Mother Tongue."

Seed Stewards — $25–$150/month — Sustainers of the soil, tending the ground so camp can return every year.

Root Keepers — $1,000–$2,500/year — Protectors of continuity, stabilizing programming season to season.

Harvest Circle — $5,000–$10,000/year — Anchors of growth, ensuring staffing and infrastructure.

Anba Mòn Legacy Circle — $15,000+ — Institutional stabilizers, underwriting permanence.
