Every Ticket Tells a Bigger Story

At The Literacy & Learning Center, we believe every story begins with opportunity. For more than 30 years, we've been helping children, adults, and families in our community build brighter futures through the power of education.

From our free Pre-K and After-School Enrichment programs to individual tutoring, GED preparation, English as a Second Language classes, and adult education opportunities, our programs provide the tools, encouragement, and support learners need to succeed. We are also proud to sponsor Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Macon County, helping put books into the hands of young children and inspiring a love of reading from the very beginning.

A Book Lover's Tea is more than a lovely afternoon of tea and tales. It's an opportunity to help write the next chapter for someone in our community.

Every ticket purchased and every gift made supports The Literacy & Learning Center's essential educational programs, all offered completely free of charge to those we serve.

So pull up a chair, pour a cup of tea, and join us in making a difference, one learner, one book, and one story at a time.
