Join the DAAD Alumni Association USA for a Celebration of Cultural Diplomacy!

At the gala event on November 11, 2026, we will present two Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Fostering Transatlantic Relations.

These awards will honor Jackson Janes, President Emeritus of the American-German Institute, and Steven Sokol, President of the American Council on Germany.

Our 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award will go to our past President, Helene Zimmer-Loew. For 26 years she served as the Executive Director of the American Association of Teachers of German.

We are honored to have Jens Jokisch, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Thomas Schlesinger, Consul General of Austria, as our special guests.

We would be delighted to have you join us for this celebration honoring the pathbreaking leadership of these awardees and their extraordinary contributions to Germany-American Exchange.

Proceeds from the event will support DAAD Alumni Association USA Scholarships. Please consider hosting or co-hosting a VIP Table or a Patron Table and inviting your colleagues, family, or friends.

You can designate your donation and participation in memory of or in honor of colleagues, mentors, or friends. Please consider a donation even if you are unable to attend.
