A Charmed Affair

I was fortunate to meet a group of strong, trailblazing women through a leadership program who quickly became lifelong friends—one of whom is the founder and executive director of Respite Retreats.

Respite Retreats creates meaningful wellness experiences for caregivers and those affected by cancer, offering space to rest, receive support, and truly recharge during incredibly difficult seasons.

Right now, I have four close friends in my life navigating stage 3–4 cancer. It’s given me a very real, very present understanding of how overwhelming this journey can be—for patients and for the people who love them—and the importance of resources, friendship, and empathy along the way.

That’s why I’m supporting Respite Retreats.

As my birthday approaches, I’m dedicating this year’s birthday fundraiser to their “A Charmed Affair with a Christmas Flair” Fundraiser Challenge, which culminates on my birthday, July 19.

Our team goal is $2,500, and I’m personally aiming to raise at least $700 toward that goal. If you’re able to give, any amount truly helps create moments of rest, care, and relief for families navigating cancer.
