After 18 years of touching the lives of so many students and families, the top charter school in Wisconsin—WSTEM—is beginning a new chapter as an independent charter school.

Last year, the Wauwatosa School District, which WSTEM has been a part of, decided not to renew its contract beyond this school year. As the amazing school it is, WSTEM did not accept that as its fate.

In a short amount of time, more than $145,000 has been raised! Renovations at the new location—10201 W. Innovation Drive in Wauwatosa—have already begun and are ahead of schedule. Classes are filling up, teachers have been hired, and the University of Wisconsin–Parkside has become the school's new authorizer, helping to provide WSTEM and every child who walks through its doors with a future without limits.
