Meet our panelists and presenters!

Arielle Cook is a passionate mental health occupational therapist and the founder of CommunOT SD, an initiative bringing free, accessible mental health resources to underserved neighborhoods across San Diego. By introducing innovative, trauma-informed sound healing to diverse groups, she champions holistic, community-first care to help communities regulate their nervous systems and heal. Arielle will be opening A Light on Mental Health & Burnout with a sound bath meditation.

Jessica Denise Dickson is a liberation-centered culture cultivator who teaches and coaches for the reclamation of our full humanity, equity, justice and freedom through the intersections of the Enneagram, antiracism, and embodiment. She’s done diversity work for over 20 years and worked with the Enneagram for over a decade. Jessica believes when we do this work, we live more authentically with self-trust, self-safety and fully-embodied freedom. When we do this, we change the world.

Latoya Mckelvin Westpoint is a lifelong mover and movement specialist. She has always practiced some form of movement meditation, even before she knew what it was called. Her somatic journey began at a young age in dance. Her passion for dance took her to the halls and stages of Temple University, where she also danced with Philandanco. After moving to California, Latoya transitioned to teaching dance and sharing the rehabilitative and healing properties of mindful movement modalities such as Pilates and Yoga with adolescents, seniors, athletes, and new movers here and abroad. She is a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor and RYT-200 Yoga Instructor. Latoya is the Founder of Movement Matters Collective, a fitness and wellness collaborative about inclusivity, fun, and well-being. The MMC team has cultivated a safe space and provides culturally affirming wellness experiences. She is teaching faculty at San Diego State University and Scripps Performing Arts Academy.

Nancy Phung-Smith, LMFT is a trauma-attuned therapist committed to healing that honors your full sense of self — your body, your lineage, your relationships, your inner world and the parts of you that have worked so hard to protect you. Grounded in a systems lens, she recognizes that who we are is shaped in relationship — and that healing unfolds there, too. Her work centers on more than the symptoms. It is about understanding the why — the roots of your pain, the patterns your system learned to survive, and the cultural and intergenerational forces that shaped your story. As a BIPOC therapist, she honors the reality that healing is not neutral. It is decolonizing. It is reclamation. It is a coming home to the Self that lives beneath survival strategies, shame, and inherited burdens.

Olivia Steadman-Oladipo is the founder of shore and sage wellness market, San Diego’s first recurring wellness market rooted in accessibility, community, and care. What began as a grassroots idea quickly grew into a thriving monthly event bringing together local makers, holistic practitioners, wellness experiences and thousands of attendees seeking meaningful community to support reflection and self-discovery. Through shore and sage, Olivia is helping reimagine what modern third spaces can look like — creating environments where wellness feels approachable, inclusive and intentional about genuine human connection. Her work centers community care, small business support and building spaces that encourage people to slow down, connect and feel seen and supported. In addition to producing wellness events for the city, Olivia’s background spans wellness facilitation, psychology and authorship through her guided journal, Inward, designed to support reflection and self-discovery.
