Enjoy a self-guided luminary hike with your special person (family & friends included!) at Green Earth's Oakland Nature Preserve. It's only during special events that visitors are allowed to explore Green Earth's trails at night. Stroll the woodland trail to experience the preserve in a new way while enjoying the delightful light display.

Advanced ticket purchase for walking the trail is required. The $10 admission price includes hot cocoa, a Valentine treat, and access to a cozy campfire. Additional concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase. To keep the walk's intimate charm, we are limiting admission to 25 ticket holders every 15 minutes.

Tickets for admission are sold in timed slots but the hike itself is not time limited. Set a leisurely pace, stroll the beautifully lit woodland trail, and enjoy your evening. The luminary trail is well-maintained and offers firm, flat footing which can accommodate strollers. Walkers and wheelchair users are welcome but need to feel comfortable on natural terrain with small elevation changes. Group purchases are availalble. Ticket holdes more than 15 minutes late may have to wait until trail traffic ebbs for entry.

Please dress for the weather and bundle up if needed. This outdoor event is weather dependent, but light rain or snow will not ruin the evening. Moderate to heavy rain, extreme low temperatures, or icy road and trail conditions will be cause for postponement to 2/17 raindate. Ticket holders will be notified and can request a refund.

Free parking is located directly across the street from the Oakland Preserve main entrance. Part of the charm of this event is the trail will be lit only by luminaries, no flashlight use please.
