As pioneers in leading the Girl Movement across the Americas, we know that girls are the world’s most powerful force for change, YET, they are also the most underserved, underrepresented, and vulnerable in the world. Even though 100% of Mariposa girls are graduating from high school, the Dominican Republic and Latin America still remain far behind in efforts to uplift their female populations.

The Mariposa DR Foundation’s innovative programs are changing the trajectory of girls born into poverty. After 15 years, a new generation of educated, independent, and powerful young women has emerged and the results have been nothing short of astonishing. These brilliant young women have smashed the glass ceiling and have accomplished more than anyone ever imagined.

Together, we are creating a brighter future for little girls who, although born into poverty, are destined for success as the leaders of tomorrow.
