Phase 1 of the Heber Halo, a roughly 25-mile mid-slope connector trail links Pine Canyon (more specifically the Maple Grove Trail) to the Deer Creek Trail. This segment is more than the project’s first major phase, it is a keystone trail that will physically and experientially tie communities to the overall trail system, including Midway and Charleston cities.

The Heber Halo represents one of WTF's long term strategic priorities: a backcountry loop connecting the existing singletrack, backcountry trails throughout the Heber Valley. Beyond adding miles of trail for people to recreate on, it is also designed to bring backcountry trail access closer to every community in Wasatch County.
