The Asian American Playwright Collective is a group of Boston-based playwrights who have banded together to nurture, develop, and promote new work by Asian-American playwrights in the Boston area.

Since 2018, we have produced an annual Playfest showcasing our work and giving opportunities to Boston-area AAPI actors in conjunction with the publication of our anthologies. We have committed to paying our artists and crew for their work. As arts funding has been slashed across the board, we have found ourselves in need of more support to continue these efforts.

In additional to our banner Playfest and Anthology events, we have worked with Boston Theater Marathon, Off-Kendrik, the Burlington Players, and Brandeis University to showcase our members.
