On August 22, St. Louis Public Radio reported “The Phelps County Jail will no longer take in new U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainees, effective Sept. 1.”

In response to this, Abide in Love will continue to provide support to immigrants in our community. We will also continue to assist and grow our affiliate network.

Abide In Love, based in Rolla, Missouri (Phelps County) began in May of 2025. The group was formed to support & uplift local immigrants in our community. Abide In Love's first goal is reaching out to, raising funds for and supporting ICE detainees in Phelps County Jail.

Donations will go towards the following:

Video, phone, and text communications to friends, family, lawyers, clergy or Abide In Love members.
Care Packages with member signed Abide In Love stickers.
Postcards signed by Abide In Love members.
Funds directly to individual commissary accounts.
Funds to a medical account for all ICE inmates.
