Gregory Treace, of Creek County, Oklahoma, went missing in July 2022 after leaving late one night to go fishing with his brother and his brother's girlfriend. When he didn't return, his brother claimed the two had a huge fight and Greg left with the girlfriend for a hotel — but Greg was never seen again.

His disappearance was especially concerning because he had stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and had missed a treatment. His jean shorts were later found on a bench on his mother's property, troubling since cancer-related neuropathy made walking barefoot on the rocky ground extremely painful for him.

Investigators say a lack of a trackable phone and inconclusive property searches have stalled the case, and there hasn't been enough evidence for charges. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Creek County Sheriff's Office.
