Act Black sparks enthusiasm and connects everyday people–primarily within Black communities–with opportunities to contribute their time, talent, and resources to help sustain small, community-based nonprofits that are Black-led and Black-serving. Our Why: Black-led organizations receive less than 2% of funding from major foundations but they are often lifelines that transform lives within our community. Historically, despite external forces, our community has pooled resources to sponsor solutions that help move us forward.
