🐎 Adopt Your Favorite Riding Buddy This Winter! ❄️

Have you ever taken a trail ride with Giddy-Up Riders of Kansas City and found that one horse you couldn't stop talking about afterward? Maybe you met your favorite riding buddy during a Horsemanship course, riding lesson, Meet & Greet, youth program, or visit to the ranch.

Now we're inviting you to help care for the horses who have cared for so many of us.

At Giddy-Up Riders of Kansas City, our horses are more than part of the program—they are our partners. They help us teach children and adults horsemanship, build confidence, create opportunities for youth, preserve the legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls, bring families together, and give people a place to breathe, learn, laugh, heal, and grow.

❄️ Winter Changes the Work—But It Doesn't Stop It

As temperatures drop, caring for our riding partners becomes even more important. Feed, hay, hoof care, veterinary needs, supplies, water, shelter, and maintaining safe spaces for the horses continue whether we're booked for a ride that day or not.

That's why we're launching our Winter Horse Care & Ranch Support Campaign with a goal of $12,000.

Your donation can help support:

🐴 Hay & Feed
🧲 Farrier & Hoof Care
🩺 Veterinary & First-Aid Needs
🪣 Horse-Care & Ranch Supplies
❄️ Winter Care & Maintenance

🤎 Choose Your Riding Buddy

If you've ridden with us before, tell us which horse stole your heart!

Throughout the campaign, we'll introduce some of the horses who participate in Giddy-Up Riders programs and share their stories, personalities, photos, and updates.

Never ridden with us? That's okay—you can still join the herd. Your support helps us continue creating affordable and meaningful equestrian experiences for youth, families, and our community.

🌱 Your Gift Goes Beyond the Barn

When you help care for a GRoKC riding partner, you're also helping us continue the mission those horses make possible:

Teaching. Mentoring. Healing. Building confidence. Preserving heritage. Connecting families. Serving our community.

Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, every contribution helps.

Can't make a monetary donation? We'll also be creating a Winter Horse Care Wish List for supporters who would like to donate needed supplies.
