Giant Bananagrams is back!

Its time to Go Bananas for Lake Erie Ink! On Saturday, March 18th, 2023, Lake Erie Ink will bring the love of language and creative word play to its 11^th annual GIANT Bananagrams Tournament. Inspired by the fast-paced, Scrabble-like word game, Bananagrams brings together teams of up to 5 players to compete on a 30x30 ft. board in front of a large audience and narrated by a guest emcee. This event requires creative thinking and encourages teamwork and collaboration as groups scramble to be the first to turn their letters into words.

Each team of 5 needs to raise $500 to play. Get your friends together to start a team, and then reach out to your networks to help you hit the fundraising goal!

The event will take place at Cleveland Heights High School from 1-4PM

The Giant Bananagrams Haiku Contest is also making a return this year. Judges will read and score haikus in three categories:

• Banana-themed
• Most Unique
• Classic/Nature Themed
