Aegis America is the U.S. fundraising arm of the Aegis Trust, mobilizing catalytic investments and donations to support peace education, trauma healing, survivor empowerment, and social enterprises in Rwanda and other at-risk regions.

Building on 25 Years of Impact

For over two decades, Aegis Trust has been at the forefront of genocide prevention and post-conflict peace-building. We have reached more than 4 million people through peace education, embedded it into Rwanda’s national curriculum, and supported survivors in rebuilding their lives. We operate the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, serving as a global center for learning and remembrance.
