Art for Breakfast is a free workshop and dine-in experience providing culturally responsive creative arts instruction in underserved communities while building a love for art. Youth ages 6-12 are provided free breakfast, free art supplies and their own unique art piece. This is a family affair!

Our intent is to provide youth with a healthy start to their morning with a healthy meal and mindfulness. In doing so, we are aiding in the development of their social emotional skills and capacity to grow and develop.

The program also focuses on

Supporting the development of social emotional skills and young people’s capacity to utilize emotional intelligence.
Relational connections by providing space for youth to be in a community that is not focused on academics or connected to family obligations. Art for Breakfast is a gathering place where new friendships are made, new ideas are shared and a sense of safety and belonging is fostered.
Empowering young people with a deeper sense of self confidence by teaching them a skill that allows them to express outwardly their inner thoughts, feelings and passions creatively.
