Belonging isn’t something our students have to wait for.

It’s something they’re already building — together.

While the world doesn't always provide spaces that AANHPI girls and gender-expansive youth deserve, Asian Girls Ignite is the space where they show up fully as themselves. Spaces where they can try something new, speak up, and realize they’re not alone.

This May, our This is Belonging campaign is a celebration of those moments happening right now:

Moments where a student speaks up for the first time.
Moments where they feel proud of who they are.
Moments where they realize they have a community behind them.

This is also an invitation to make more of these moments possible.

🌟 Why Your Gift Matters Right Now

Right now, we have students and families who want to participate in our Summer and Mentorship programs but need financial support to do so.

We’re actively working to ensure these programs remain accessible at low or no cost, so that every student who wants to be here can be here.

Your support helps remove those barriers and makes sure belonging isn’t something students have to earn or wait for.

💜 What Your Gift Provides

$50: Supplies for a student storytelling or leadership workshop

$150: Supports a student’s participation in a community or wellness event

$250: Covers a student’s participation in an AGI program

$500: Sponsors mentorship for a student paired with an AANHPI role model

$1,000: Sponsors a student’s full participation in our Summer Program

"I grew up in a very predominantly white area and I feel like a lot of people I encountered had a very narrow view of what it was like to be Asian. As a half-Asian girl, I felt like I wasn't Asian enough or wasn't white enough. I feel like I didn't fit in. But after joining AGI, I found that my peers had a lot of similar experiences to me. They have shown me that there wasn't such a thing as being 'Asian enough' or 'not Asian enough.' This has really helped me embrace my identity.""
