As the blessed month of Ramadan begins, we at Averroes High School are reminded of its profound beauty. A time of reflection, compassion, and giving, where mercy, forgiveness, and refuge are not just virtues but living, breathing forces that touch our hearts and inspire us to be better.

These values are more than ideals but they shape who we are as a school, a community, and human beings striving to draw closer to Allah.

The First Ashrah - Rahmah

During the first 10 days, may we be reminded of Allah's boundless mercy.

A mercy we see unfold daily at Averroes. It shines in the bright, eager faces of our students, in the unwavering dedication of our teachers, and in the generosity of supporters like you. It is a reminder that, as Allah tells us in the Qur'an:

"My mercy encompasses all things." (Qur’an 7:156)

Our students are living proof of the power of mercy. They come from diverse backgrounds, each carrying their own stories of struggle and triumph. Yet within the walls of Averroes, they find more than just a school. They find a sanctuary, a place where they are nurtured, encouraged, and uplifted!

The Second Ashrah - Maghfirah

The second phase of Ramadan is a time for reflection and seeking Allah’s forgiveness. As we strive to purify our hearts, we are reminded that the best deeds are those that outlive us.

Your zakat or sadaqah given in this sacred month, has the opportunity to uplift students while also seeking Allah’s mercy. Every dollar given is a chance to multiply blessings

The Third Ashrah - Najaat

As we enter the final Ashrah, we are reminded that true success is found in what we leave behind. The rewards of supporting Islamic education are everlasting, your generosity today will sustain and expand a mission that nurtures minds, uplifts hearts, and shapes the future.
