Backed by a transformative $1.5 million investment from the Ford Foundation, we are expanding our capacity, strengthening the systems that support independent creators, and building a more equitable future for the audio makers who power public and community media. What to expect:

Spend the evening connecting with fellow producers, podcasters, audio journalists, documentary filmmakers, media funders, and NYC creatives over food and drinks. Step into our listening booths and immerse yourself in outstanding work from across the AIR community, or leave a voice note to express where you are in your journey with AIR. Stay for a short program celebrating our growth, our people, and the road ahead.

Design the Next AIR Merch

Our Merchandise Design Competition is now open, and entries are already coming in. We’re looking for a bold, wearable design that captures the spirit of independent audio creators and the AIR community.

The winning design will be unveiled live at the Gala and produced as a limited run of official AIR merchandise. The selected designer will receive a $250 honorarium, Gala tickets, and a complimentary AIR membership.
