AL DÍA was founded by entrepreneurial journalists in 1994 as a home-based, one-man operation. Over 25 years, and still owned and operated by journalists, it has evolved into a multimedia and multilingual and cross-cultural news media organization. AL DÍA offers readers a unique perspective in the midst of the cluttered media landscape and stereotypical representation of Americans of Latino descent. It publishes a unique news website available in English and Spanish, a trendsetting dual language magazine, and ground-breaking English-language events on Business, Politics and Culture, among other ambitious content initiatives.

AL DÍA Bilingual Coverage- COVID-19 Local News Fund is a program administered by Local Media Foundation, tax ID #36‐4427750, a Section 501(c)(3) charitable trust affiliated with Local Media Association. LMF is raising funds for educational activities; specifically, to educate the public on COVID-19 issues. LMF is providing funds to this news organization and many others to support this important educational project. All money raised by this effort will go directly to support COVID-19 reporting, to make sure the public has essential facts on this important topic.
