Our work primarily takes place here in Orange County, North Carolina, but Habitat for Humanity of Orange County also supports housing solutions around the world. In its more than 40-year history, Orange Habitat has invested over $1.4 million in 354 international housing solutions.

I’m excited to be leading my third Global Village trip with Orange Habitat, traveling to Honduras to volunteer alongside our longtime international partner, Habitat para la Humanidad Honduras.

These trips have become one of the most fulfilling parts of my work with Habitat. Each one is a reminder of why I do this work and why Habitat’s mission means so much to me. I love bringing a group of people together, working alongside local families and Habitat staff, building relationships, and seeing what we can accomplish together. And, honestly, we have a lot of fun along the way.

Leading these trips gives me a real sense of purpose. It’s an opportunity to step outside of my day-to-day work, experience Habitat’s mission in a different way, and be part of the longstanding partnership between Orange Habitat and Habitat Honduras. I’m incredibly excited to lead another team and return to Honduras.

I am fundraising to help cover a portion of the cost of my trip.

Thank you for supporting me, our Global Village team, and Habitat’s work in Honduras!

Jesus goes to Honduras 2027!
