Our work primarily takes place here in Orange County, North Carolina, but Habitat for Humanity of Orange County also supports housing solutions around the world. In its more than 40-year history, Orange Habitat has invested over $1.4 million in 354 international housing solutions.

I’m excited to be joining my first Global Village trip with Orange Habitat, traveling to Honduras to volunteer alongside our longtime international partner, Habitat para la Humanidad Honduras.

This will be my first opportunity to experience Habitat’s work internationally and to work alongside local families, Habitat staff, and fellow volunteers. I’m looking forward to learning more about Habitat’s work in Honduras, building relationships, and being part of the longstanding partnership between our two affiliates.

I am fundraising to help cover the cost of my trip, which includes a donation to Habitat Honduras to support their continued work building homes, communities, and hope.

Thank you for supporting me on my first Global Village trip and helping support Habitat’s work in Honduras!

Alexa goes to Honduras 2027!
