Meet Mazey 🥹💗💫🌸

We are currently trying to get her the medical care she needs in hopes of saving her eye and preserving her vision.

Mazey came to us from a site of over 100 dogs. She was supposed to come to us on a fast adventure to a new forever home but a few days after she was in foster, she suddenly became lethargic and wouldn’t open her eyes. Her awesome foster knew just what to do and got her to the emergency vet to figure out what we could do for her!! She did have a fever but her bloodwork came back unremarkable so the vet decided to try eye drops and pain meds to get her comfortable. The following day with no improvement, we were able to get her into our new vet in Lewis County who gave us some additional antibiotics to hopefully help her with the ability to open her eyes - more so the right eye so we could SEE what was happening in there. Fortunately, the new med helped her eye start to open, unfortunately, we see a cloudy eye which isn’t ideal. At this time we are doing everything we can and throwing everything at this to try and get her eye to heal so she can regain her sight. She currently can’t see out of the cloudy eye. We don’t know exactly what the road ahead looks like yet. If she does lose vision in her eye, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there and make sure she has everything she needs to adapt, thrive and still live a BIG, adventure filled, and beautiful life. But for now, we’re putting all of our energy into trying to save her eye. So far, our running total for her bills just under $1000, and we still have a ways to go to make sure we can do EVERYTHING to get this eye back in working shape 💫

Wolfheart Fitness and I are raising funds to help cover Mazey’s veterinary care, and if you’d like to be a part of her story, you can donate directly through the Givebutter link 🔗 💗💫🌸

No amount is too small & donating isn’t the only way to help this sweet girl! Sharing this post and getting Mazey’s story in front of more people means just as much 💗

DONATE TO MAZEY 💗💫🌸
